Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets alcohol dehydrogenase 6 (gene ADH6) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Alcohol dehydrogenase 6 (ADH6) is a class V member of the ADH family expressed mainly in liver and stomach. It uses NAD+ to oxidize alcohols to aldehydes or ketones, although its natural substrates are not fully defined.
| Target | Alcohol dehydrogenase 6 (gene ADH6; UniProt P28332, human) |
|---|---|
| Host / Clonality / Isotype | Rabbit / Polyclonal / Rabbit IgG |

| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Immunogen
Recombinant human ADH6 fragment (Glu50–Lys367), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the rat ortholog: 63.3%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places alcohol dehydrogenase 6 in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Stomach and liver.
