Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes hypermethylated in cancer 1 protein (gene hic1.L) in african clawed frog samples.
In the African clawed frog Xenopus laevis, hic1.L encodes a homolog of Hypermethylated in cancer 1 (HIC1), a zinc-finger transcriptional repressor of the BTB/POZ family. Xenopus is used to study how HIC1 family repressors act during embryonic development.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with african clawed frog. UniProt places hypermethylated in cancer 1 protein in the nucleus.
