Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes kdr.L in african clawed frog samples.
In Xenopus laevis, kdr.L is one of two copies (L homeolog) of the gene for the VEGF receptor 2 tyrosine kinase. By homology with other vertebrates, it is expected to act as an endothelial receptor for VEGF that supports blood vessel and blood cell development, and Xenopus embryos are used to study vascular development.
