Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes REL2 (gene 1270310) in african malaria mosquito samples.
In the malaria mosquito Anopheles gambiae, REL2 is an NF-κB family transcription factor containing a Rel homology domain. It acts downstream of the IMD pathway to switch on antimicrobial and other immune genes, and it is studied for its role in mosquito resistance to bacteria and Plasmodium parasites.
