Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets axin interactor, dorsalization-associated protein (gene AIDA) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 35.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 36 kDa.
AIDA (axin interactor, dorsalization-associated) binds the scaffold protein axin and blocks axin self-association. This limits axin-driven JNK activation, and AIDA acts as a ventralizing factor during vertebrate embryonic patterning.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Mouse, Rat) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human U251 cells, human PC-3 cells, human U-87MG cells, rat stomach tissue, mouse RAW264.7 cells, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): K562 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human AIDA fragment (Glu54–Arg284), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed in adult tissues, with highest expression in the heart and skeletal muscle. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
