Product Overview

Clone 25A31 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes nucleic acid dioxygenase ALKBH1 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 43.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 44 kDa.

ALKBH1 is an Fe(II)/α-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase of the AlkB family that modifies nucleic acids. It acts mainly on tRNAs, removing N1-methyladenine or oxidizing specific bases in cytoplasmic and mitochondrial tRNAs, and so influences translation and mitochondrial function.

Target Nucleic acid dioxygenase ALKBH1 (gene ALKBH1; UniProt Q13686, human)
