Product Overview
Clone 26A68 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes nucleic acid dioxygenase ALKBH1 in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 43.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 43 kDa.
ALKBH1 is an Fe(II)/α-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase of the AlkB family that modifies nucleic acids. It acts mainly on tRNAs, removing N1-methyladenine or oxidizing specific bases in cytoplasmic and mitochondrial tRNAs, and so influences translation and mitochondrial function.
