Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase-activating protein (gene ALOX5AP) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry.
FLAP (ALOX5AP, 5-lipoxygenase-activating protein) is a nuclear membrane protein that binds arachidonic acid and presents it to 5-lipoxygenase. It is required for cellular leukotriene production and is the target of FLAP inhibitors such as MK-886 used in inflammation research.
