Product Overview
Clone ACIO-1 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes alpha-actinin-4 (gene ACTN4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 104.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 105 kDa.
Alpha-actinin-4 (ACTN4) is a non-muscle actin-bundling protein that links actin filaments to adhesion sites and other cell structures. It is important in kidney podocytes, where mutations cause focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, and it is studied in cell motility and cancer invasion.
