This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes caprin-1b isoform X3 (gene caprin1b) in Annual killifish samples.
In the annual killifish Austrofundulus limnaeus, caprin1b is a paralog of Caprin-1, an RNA-binding protein. In other vertebrates, Caprin-1 is known as a component of stress granules and RNA granules that regulate mRNA translation, but the specific role of this fish paralog has not been characterized.
