Product Overview
Clone 25N77 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes atrial natriuretic peptide receptor 2 (gene NPR2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 117.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 117 kDa.
Natriuretic peptide receptor 2 (NPR2, also called GC-B) is a membrane guanylyl cyclase activated by C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP). The resulting cGMP signal is important for endochondral bone growth, and NPR2 mutations cause acromesomelic dysplasia, Maroteaux type. It is also studied in oocyte meiotic arrest.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human fetal kidney.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ANPRB.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places atrial natriuretic peptide receptor 2 in the cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
