Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes DNA dC->dU-editing enzyme APOBEC-3C (gene APOBEC3C) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry.
APOBEC3C is a cytidine deaminase of the APOBEC3 family that can edit cytosine to uracil in single-stranded DNA. It contributes to innate defense against retroviruses and retrotransposons and is studied, with other family members, in antiviral immunity and viral restriction.
