Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects ADP-ribosylation factor 6 (gene ARF6) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 20.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 20 kDa.
ADP-ribosylation factor 6 (ARF6) is a small GTPase that acts at the plasma membrane and endosomes. It regulates endocytic recycling, phosphoinositide signaling and actin remodeling, and it is studied in cell migration, cell spreading, cytokinesis and tumor cell invasion.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human PC-3 cells, human U2OS cells, rat liver tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse liver tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A431 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): PC-3 cells, RH35 cells.

Recombinant human ARF6 fragment (Arg75–Ser175), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ADP-ribosylation factor 6 in the cytoplasm, cell membrane, endosome membrane and recycling endosome membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous, with higher levels in heart, substantia nigra, and kidney. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
