Product Overview
Clone 28A57 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ADP-ribosylation factor-related protein 1 (gene ARFRP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 22.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 23 kDa.
ARF-related protein 1 (ARFRP1) is a small GTPase located at the trans-Golgi network. It directs ARL1 and its golgin effectors to the trans-Golgi to control protein sorting, and it is needed for proper lipidation of chylomicrons in the intestine and VLDL in the liver.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ADP-ribosylation factor-related protein 1 in the Golgi apparatus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Found in most tissues. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
