Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 5 (gene ARHGEF5) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 5 (ARHGEF5) activates Rho GTPases, most strongly RhoA and RhoB, by promoting GDP-to-GTP exchange. It is studied in actin cytoskeleton remodeling, formation of invasive adhesion structures and cell migration.

Recombinant human ARHGEF5 fragment (Asp1555–Ala1597), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 97.6%.

The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 5 in the cytoplasm, nucleus and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed with highest levels in placenta.
