Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects serrate RNA effector molecule homolog (gene SRRT) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 100.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 101 kDa.
Serrate RNA effector molecule homolog (SRRT, also called ARS2) is a partner of the nuclear cap-binding complex. It helps direct capped RNAs, including primary microRNA transcripts, toward processing by the DROSHA-DGCR8 microprocessor, supporting microRNA biogenesis and cell proliferation.

Immunogen
Recombinant human ARS2/SRRT fragment (His125–Gln793), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places serrate RNA effector molecule homolog in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
