Product Overview
Clone 30A62 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes arginyl-tRNA--protein transferase 1 (gene ATE1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 59.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 59 kDa.
Arginyl-tRNA-protein transferase 1 (ATE1) adds arginine to the N-terminus of proteins bearing an exposed aspartate or glutamate. This arginylation can mark proteins for degradation through the N-degron pathway and can also change their function, and ATE1 is studied in protein turnover, cytoskeleton regulation and cardiovascular development.

| Immunohistochemistry | 1:50–1:200 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HepG2 cells, mouse spleen.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ATE1.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places arginyl-tRNA--protein transferase 1 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
