Product Overview
Clone ABIA-1 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cysteine protease ATG4B in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 44.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 44 kDa.
ATG4B is the most active of the mammalian ATG4 cysteine proteases. It processes LC3 and other ATG8 family proteins so they can be lipidated onto autophagosome membranes and later recycles them by delipidation, and it is studied as a regulator of autophagy flux.
