Product Overview
Clone 26A11 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes potassium-transporting ATPase subunit beta (gene ATP4B) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 33.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 55 kDa.
ATP4B is the β subunit of the gastric H+/K+-ATPase in stomach parietal cells. It is needed for the correct folding, membrane delivery and stability of the catalytic α subunit, and therefore for gastric acid secretion.
