Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets V-type proton ATPase subunit B, kidney isoform (gene ATP6V1B1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
ATP6V1B1 is the kidney isoform of the B subunit of the vacuolar H+-ATPase (V-ATPase). In kidney intercalated cells it supports acid secretion into urine, and mutations cause distal renal tubular acidosis with sensorineural deafness.

Immunogen
Recombinant human ATP6V1B1 fragment (Cys17–Leu513), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 95.2% and 88.2%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places V-type proton ATPase subunit B, kidney isoform in the apical cell membrane and basolateral cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Kidney.
