Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects serine/threonine-protein kinase ATR in human samples and is validated for ICC/IF and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 301.4 kDa.
ATR is a serine/threonine kinase that responds to replication stress and single-stranded DNA. Recruited with its partner ATRIP to RPA-coated DNA, it phosphorylates CHK1 and other targets to slow the cell cycle, stabilize stalled replication forks and promote repair, and it is a major target in DNA damage response research.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places serine/threonine-protein kinase ATR in the nucleus, chromosome and nucleus envelope. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous, with highest expression in testis...
