Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects axin-1 (gene AXIN1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
Axin-1 (AXIN1) is the scaffold of the β-catenin destruction complex, bringing together APC, GSK3β and CK1 so that β-catenin is phosphorylated and degraded. It therefore acts as a key negative regulator of Wnt signaling, and loss-of-function mutations are found in several cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma.
