Product Overview
Clone 23B65 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes fanconi anemia group J protein (gene BRIP1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 140.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 110 kDa.
BRIP1 (also called FANCJ or BACH1) is a 5′–3′ DNA helicase that binds BRCA1 and acts in the Fanconi anemia pathway. It helps repair DNA interstrand crosslinks and double-strand breaks and resolves G-quadruplex structures during replication. BRIP1 mutations cause Fanconi anemia group J and increase ovarian cancer risk.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human BACH1/BRIP1.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places fanconi anemia group J protein in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels in testis. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
