Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase BAP1 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for ELISA and Western blot.
BAP1 is a nuclear deubiquitinase that is the catalytic core of PR-DUB, a Polycomb-associated deubiquitinase complex, which removes monoubiquitin from histone H2A at lysine 119. It regulates gene expression and DNA repair, and BAP1 is an established tumor suppressor, with germline mutations predisposing to mesothelioma, uveal melanoma and other cancers.
