Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects C-X-C motif chemokine 13 (gene CXCL13) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and flow cytometry.
CXCL13 (BLC) is a chemokine that attracts B cells through the receptor CXCR5. Produced by stromal cells in lymphoid follicles, it organizes B-cell follicles and guides follicular helper T cells. CXCL13 is also studied in ectopic lymphoid structures that form in chronic inflammation, autoimmunity and some tumors.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the C-terminal region of human CXCL13.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt describes C-X-C motif chemokine 13 as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highest levels in liver, followed by spleen, lymph node, appendix and stomach.
