Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes bcl-2-related protein A1 (gene BCL2A1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 20.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 30 kDa.
Bcl-2-related protein A1 (BCL2A1, also called Bfl-1/A1) is an anti-apoptotic member of the Bcl-2 family. It is expressed mainly in hematopoietic cells and is induced by NF-κB and inflammatory signals, and it helps immune and endothelial cells survive during activation. BCL2A1 is also studied in blood cancers and resistance to apoptosis.
