Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes B-cell lymphoma 6 protein (gene BCL6) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
BCL6 is a zinc finger transcriptional repressor that is required for germinal center formation, where it allows B cells to proliferate and tolerate DNA damage during antibody affinity maturation. It also drives T follicular helper cell differentiation. BCL6 is frequently deregulated in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Recombinant human BCL6 fragment (Arg28–Lys336), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 90.6%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places B-cell lymphoma 6 protein in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in germinal center T- and B-cells and in primary immature dendritic cells.
