Product Overview
Clone 26B40 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes apoptosis facilitator Bcl-2-like protein 14 (gene BCL2L14) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 36.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 45 kDa.
BCL2L14 (also called Bcl-G) is a member of the BCL-2 protein family that can promote apoptosis. It is a substrate of the kinase MELK, and it is studied in the regulation of cell death.

Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
