Product Overview
Clone 28B74 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes B-cell linker protein (gene BLNK) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 50.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
BLNK (also called SLP-65) is a linker protein phosphorylated by SYK after B-cell receptor engagement. Its phosphotyrosines recruit BTK, PLCγ2, VAV and GRB2, coupling the receptor to calcium, MAPK and NF-κB signaling. BLNK is essential for normal B-cell development, and its loss causes a form of agammaglobulinemia.
