Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19 kDa protein-interacting protein 3-like (gene BNIP3L) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry.
BNIP3L (also called NIX) is a mitochondrial outer membrane protein related to BNIP3. It acts as a mitophagy receptor that binds LC3/GABARAP proteins and is required for mitochondrial clearance during red blood cell maturation. It can also promote apoptosis under some conditions.
