Product Overview
Clone 29B86 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes integrator complex assembly factor BRAT1 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 88.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 75 kDa.
BRAT1 is a protein that helps assemble the integrator complex, which processes and terminates many RNA polymerase II transcripts. It binds INTS9 and INTS11 in the cytoplasm and keeps the INTS11 endonuclease inactive until assembly is complete. Mutations in BRAT1 cause severe neurodevelopmental disorders.
