Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes bromodomain-containing protein 1 (gene BRD1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
BRD1 (also called BRPF2) is a bromodomain-containing scaffold subunit of histone acetyltransferase complexes, particularly the HBO1 (KAT7) complex, where it directs acetylation of histone H3 at lysine 14. It is required for normal blood cell development and has been studied in brain development.

Recombinant human BRD1 fragment (Arg395–Gln913), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 92.9%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places bromodomain-containing protein 1 in the nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in testis.
