Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects bromodomain-containing protein 3 (gene BRD3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 79.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 80 kDa.
BRD3 is a BET family bromodomain protein that binds acetylated histones and acetylated transcription factors such as GATA1, helping to recruit transcription machinery to target genes. It is involved in red blood cell gene expression and is a target of BET inhibitors.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human COLO-320 cells, human U-87MG cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.

Reactivity Notes
