Product Overview
Clone 19B93 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes mitotic checkpoint protein BUB3 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 37.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 40 kDa.
BUB3 is a WD40-repeat protein of the spindle assembly checkpoint that binds BUB1 and BubR1 and brings them to kinetochores. Beyond checkpoint signaling, it helps establish stable end-on attachments between kinetochores and spindle microtubules, so it is widely used as a marker in studies of mitosis, chromosome segregation and aneuploidy.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human bub3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places mitotic checkpoint protein BUB3 in the nucleus and chromosome. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
