Product Overview
Clone ICH-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes caspase-10 (gene CASP10) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 59.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 59 kDa.
Caspase-10 is an initiator caspase closely related to caspase-8 that is present in humans but not in mice. It is recruited through FADD to death receptors such as Fas and TNFR1 and can cleave downstream effector caspases, contributing to extrinsic apoptosis. Mutations in CASP10 are linked to autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome.
