Product Overview

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets cathepsin F (gene CTSF) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and flow cytometry.

Cathepsin F (CTSF) is a lysosomal papain-like cysteine protease with an unusually long propeptide containing a cystatin-like domain. It contributes to protein degradation in lysosomes, and loss-of-function variants cause a form of adult-onset neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis, so it is studied in lysosomal biology and neurodegeneration.
