Product Overview
Clone ADHB-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes chromobox protein homolog 7 (gene CBX7) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 28.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 28 kDa.
CBX7 is a Polycomb chromobox protein that binds histone H3 methylated at lysine 27 and helps target canonical PRC1 complexes to repress genes. It is notably involved in repressing the INK4a/ARF locus, which supports stem cell self-renewal and delays cellular senescence, and it is studied in stem cells and cancer.
