Product Overview
Clone 26C30 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes coiled-coil and C2 domain-containing protein 1A (gene CC2D1A) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 104.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 130 kDa.
CC2D1A (also called Freud-1 or Aki1) is a coiled-coil and C2 domain-containing protein. It was identified as a repressor that binds an element in the serotonin 1A receptor (HTR1A) gene promoter, and it has also been linked to NF-κB signaling and endosomal sorting. CC2D1A mutations cause a recessive form of intellectual disability.
