Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes C-C motif chemokine 21a (gene Ccl21a) in mouse and rat samples and is validated for IHC and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 14.6 kDa.
In mouse, Ccl21a is one of several copies of the CCL21 chemokine gene. CCL21 is produced in lymphatic endothelium and lymphoid tissues and attracts CCR7-expressing naive T cells and dendritic cells, making it important for lymphocyte homing and thymocyte migration in mouse immunology studies.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): mouse lung tissue, rat lung tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).

The supplier lists reactivity with mouse and rat. UniProt describes C-C motif chemokine 21a as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (mouse): Expressed strongly in lung, spleen, thymus, peripheral and mesentric lymph nodes.
