Product Overview
Clone ACHG-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes C-C chemokine receptor type 8 (gene CCR8) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 40.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 41 kDa.
CCR8 is a G protein-coupled chemokine receptor whose main ligand is CCL1. It is expressed on subsets of regulatory T cells and Th2 cells, and it has drawn strong interest because CCR8 is highly enriched on tumor-infiltrating regulatory T cells.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 1:500–1:2000 |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 1:50–1:200 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human SH-SY5Y cells, human U251 cells, human PC-3 cells, rat PC-12 cells, mouse thymus tissue, mouse RAW264.7 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): HeLa cells.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human CCR8.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places C-C chemokine receptor type 8 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in unstimulated CD4(+) and CD8(+) T-cells and polymorphonuclear cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
