Product Overview
Clone GEH-13 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes neprilysin (gene MME) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 85.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 100 kDa.
Neprilysin (MME, also known as CD10) is a membrane-bound zinc metalloprotease that cleaves short peptides at the cell surface. Its substrates include enkephalins, substance P, bradykinin, natriuretic peptides and amyloid-β, so it is studied in cardiovascular regulation and neurodegeneration, and CD10 is also a widely used hematopoietic cell marker.
