Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes integrin alpha-E (gene Itgae) in mouse and rat samples and is validated for IHC and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 128.9 kDa.
Integrin alpha-E (ITGAE, CD103) pairs with integrin beta-7 and binds E-cadherin on epithelial cells. It retains intraepithelial lymphocytes and tissue-resident memory T cells within epithelia, and CD103 is also a marker of a migratory dendritic cell subset in the gut and other tissues.

| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Mouse, Rat) |
|---|---|
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): mouse colon tissue, rat colon tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Recombinant mouse CD103/Itgae fragment (Phe20–Glu1061), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with mouse and rat. UniProt places integrin alpha-E in the membrane.
