Product Overview
Clone BCE-9 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes integrin alpha-X (gene ITGAX) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 127.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 128 kDa.
Integrin alpha-X (ITGAX, CD11c) pairs with integrin beta-2 to form complement receptor 4, which binds iC3b and fibrinogen. It supports adhesion, migration and phagocytosis by myeloid cells, and CD11c is widely used as a marker of dendritic cells, especially in mouse.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): THP-1 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human tonsil tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places integrin alpha-X in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Predominantly expressed in monocytes and granulocytes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
