Product Overview
Clone AAIH-9 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes integrin beta-2 (gene ITGB2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 84.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
Integrin beta-2 (CD18) is the shared beta subunit of the four leukocyte β2 integrins, including LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) and Mac-1 (CD11b/CD18). These receptors bind ICAMs, complement fragment iC3b and fibrinogen and mediate leukocyte adhesion, migration into tissues and phagocytosis; loss of CD18 causes leukocyte adhesion deficiency type 1.
