Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 61.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
CD19 is a B-cell co-receptor that forms a complex with CD21 and CD81 and lowers the threshold for B-cell receptor signaling. It is expressed from early B-cell development until plasma cell differentiation, making it the standard pan-B-cell marker and a well-known target of CAR T-cell therapy research.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Human) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Raji cells, human Ramos cells, human Daudi cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human appendix tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): human tonsil tissue.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the middle region of human CD19. It differs from the mouse sequence at seven residues.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 in the cell membrane and membrane raft. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected on marginal zone and germinal center B cells in lymph nodes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
