Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for ELISA and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 60.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
CD19 is a B-cell co-receptor that forms a complex with CD21 and CD81 and lowers the threshold for B-cell receptor signaling. It is expressed from early B-cell development until plasma cell differentiation, making it the standard pan-B-cell marker and a well-known target of CAR T-cell therapy research.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Mouse, Rat) |
|---|---|
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Ramos cells, human Daudi cells, rat spleen tissue, mouse spleen tissue, mouse RAW264.7 cells, mouse EL4 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant mouse CD19 fragment (Arg19–Met237), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 in the cell membrane and membrane raft. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (mouse): Detected on B cells in spleen, bone marrow, thymus and lymph nodes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
