Product Overview
Clone AOFO-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 61.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
CD19 is a B-cell co-receptor that forms a complex with CD21 and CD81 and lowers the threshold for B-cell receptor signaling. It is expressed from early B-cell development until plasma cell differentiation, making it the standard pan-B-cell marker and a well-known target of CAR T-cell therapy research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Raji cells, human Daudi cells, human Ramos cells, human K562 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human esophageal carcinoma tissue, human Hodgkin's lymphoma tissue, mouse skin tissue, rat stomach tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human CD19.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 in the cell membrane and membrane raft. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected on marginal zone and germinal center B cells in lymph nodes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
