Product Overview
Clone 26C19 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes T-cell surface glycoprotein CD1c in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 37.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 38 kDa.
CD1c is a CD1 family protein that presents lipid and glycolipid antigens, including mycobacterial lipopeptides, to T cells. It is expressed on B cells and a major subset of dendritic cells, where it serves as a marker of type 2 conventional dendritic cells (cDC2).

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human CD1c.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places T-cell surface glycoprotein CD1c in the cell membrane, endosome membrane and lysosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed on cortical thymocytes, on certain T-cell leukemias, and in various other tissues. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
