Product Overview
Clone ADIC-6 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes low affinity immunoglobulin epsilon Fc receptor (gene FCER2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 36.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 36 kDa.
FcεRII (FCER2, CD23) is a low-affinity receptor for IgE and a C-type lectin that also binds CR2 (CD21). It is found on B cells and other immune cells, where it helps regulate IgE production and IgE-dependent antigen uptake and presentation. CD23 is studied in allergy, B-cell biology and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human CD23.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt describes low affinity immunoglobulin epsilon Fc receptor as secreted and also located in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected in urine (at protein level). The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
