Product Overview
Clone COB-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 epsilon chain (gene CD3E) in human samples and is validated for IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 23.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 23 kDa.
CD3ε (CD3E) is a core invariant chain of the T-cell receptor–CD3 complex, pairing with CD3γ or CD3δ. It transmits antigen-recognition signals through its ITAM motif, and anti-CD3ε antibodies are the standard tools for identifying and activating T cells.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human spleen tissue, human intestinal lymph nodes tissue, human intestine tissue, human tonsil tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
